Sex Helps Selling Wii

Over the Christmas holiday there was a lot of selling and people trying to market different products. One particular sales approach caught the eyes of many. It seems on a local very popular selling board, women were trying a bit too hard to sell their products. On one posting giant women showed provocative images in order to sell items such as Wii's and playstations.

One woman went so far as to expose her breasts. Another claimed to be a female with male parts that would not only make your gaming dreams come true but your fantasies as well. Who knows if it was true or not. It appears that they felt like they were selling to younger individuals, probably men and wanted to get the edge on the rest of the market. So did it work? Who knows, but it certainly did cause their ratings to go up and they grabbed a few more visitors over the holiday season.

We all know that sex sells, it is everywhere. You can not turn on the television or radio without hearing a gorgeous person advertising something. Is there a line that gets crossed? Many people think so, it is fine to make use of your self in order to get a desired result but it does need to keep everything in good taste and make sure that your target market is not under aged individuals. Many youth were looking for games over the holiday season and the last thing that they were expecting to see was a sneak peek. While the young male teens probably got a kick out of the show, it is not something that should have been seen.

Sex has been used over the decades and is a big business. It will not too soon change and the industry can expect to grow in the next few years. The Internet has made it so easy to post a picture and get a response from people everywhere. With the growing of the industry we can expect that there will be more advertising on the Internet for more products in the near future.
